The scholarship is awarded by the Filipino Arts and Culture Festival (FilAmFest) as part of the organization’s effort to give back to the community. It is awarded to deserving high school and college students regardless of ancestry but must have provided service to the Filipino-american community.
Basic Facts:
- Amount: $500
- Heritage: Open to Filipino and non-Filipinos
Eligibility Criteria:
- Acceptance in an accredited or vocational college or university OR
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or vocational college OR
- Currently enrolled in 9th-12th grade.
- (You will be required to show proof of enrollment upon being selected)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
- Have provided Service to the Filipino-American Community or neighboring community. The FilAmFest Organizing Committee can provide a list of community service opportunities to students needing to fill this requirement.
Winners will be notified and must be able attend both VIP Reception and the FilAmFest (Failure to attend may disqualify a recipient even after they have been selected.)
