Kirkland Roasted Seasoned Seaweed

By Ces Leave a Comment

Kirkland Signature Roasted Seasoned Seaweed winter harvest is a good treat for a snack. If you have eaten to Korean Tofu House restaurants, this is comparable to the ones that they serve as part of the appetizer (along with the Kimchi, picked cucumber, bean sprout, etc).

My husband and I usually eat this as a snack. The texture is a little greasy but this is similar to the seaweed snack products we ate at a Korean restaurant so my assumption is that this is a common ingredient. This is a little salty so if you do not want that, you can always scraped off a few of the salt attached to it before you eat it. We love the taste but the saltiness is probably why we will need to cut down on buying and eating this in the future.

If you like eating seaweeds, I think this is a good deal at a good price. The single serving size is about 2″ x 3″ and 3.4g in weight. On some of the seaweed, they are large in size and we have to cut it ourselves. This one can also be used for preparation of sushi.

Costco Price: $7.59 for 10 packs of 6 oz

Amazon.com Price: (See below)

As you can see, the same product is also being sold at Amazon.com but it is more expensive. In fact, the cost is at least 25% more than Costco’s. I’m surprise that the Kirkland brand is also being sold at Amazon as I would think that Kirkland is a Costco brand and should only be sold at Costco. But seeing it at Amazon.com is probably a good thing so non Costco members can avail the product.
